And clearly from all the photos we've been sharing all day. I mean, there's no shortage of issues with this yesterday into the very early morning hours. Still. Of course, a lot of clean up going on through this afternoon. And thankfully for the cleanup efforts, there's no weather impacting or hampering those efforts to the rest of. Here's a hyperlocal planner in the Poughkeepsie area, Dutchess County, another place that got hit hard yesterday with some storms, temperatures of around 81 or so through the afternoon and um mostly clear to partly cloudy sky over in Poughkeepsie, more of a mix of sun and clouds elsewhere down into the sixties by 10 o'clock tonight, it's going to be a really refreshing rest of the day. Humidity keeps lowering throughout the rest of this Thursday everywhere. So through the afternoon, upper seventies, low eighties feeling more and more comfortable each and every hour. And then tonight, you might even want a light jacket or even more. So for tomorrow morning, it's morning temperatures tomorrow briefly started in the upper forties and low fifties heading towards highs tomorrow in the upper seventies to near 80 degrees. So it's a near perfect Friday on the way tomorrow with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and nice, uh, warm temperatures, but a little bit below average for this time of the year. And we'll have dry weather into tomorrow night. Saturday is a day where I think we're just looking at a mix of sun and clouds most of the day can't completely rule out a stray shower late in the day. But for the most part, it's dry. I think if we're going to get a thunderstorm over the weekend, it's probably very early on Sunday. Morning storm watch team, meteorologist Addison Green will have an update on the weekend weather for you this evening. So as we take a look at our mood cast today, smile worthy weather for sure, lowering humidity, mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and then overnight tonight, definitely back to a mostly clear sky lows in the fifties. Highs in the seventies to near 80 tomorrow. Nice comfortable day and a mostly sunny day beyond tomorrow, a late shower possible Saturday, better chance for a few showers on Sunday. Uh, as we get into next week, low eighties to start Monday through Wednesday with great weather, few more clouds in the mix with a more hot and humid day on the Fourth of July next Thursday.

DOT seeks input on I-84 freight parking locations

We have an alert for all of you drivers out there. The State Department of Transportation is seeking your input on locations to add freight parking facilities along I 84. The dot says the locations would be along the areas of route nine Fish kill and East Fish kill and the route 747 interchange in Newburg. Now, there are two ways you can share back. Both of them are on this website, the I 84 freight parking website that the dot has created. We're going to have this like for you up on News twelve.com. The first way is through this parking survey right here. It's going to ask you about your travel and truck parking preferences on I 84 specifically between Middletown and Fish kill. The second is the pages map activity right here. You can add multiple different markers to share your thoughts and concerns for certain parts of the project. If we click on one right here, they'll ask why is there insufficient parking? You can ask questions or give your feedback. So both ways to be able to share this feedback will be available to you until June 28th.
