But is the weather going to Cooper, meteorologist Julian C Wright is here and Julian as we take a look out at the bridge all lit up a clear night, we want to know if that's gonna stick around for the fireworks. Well, hopefully, as of right now, we're looking at smooth sailing up until the fourth of July Tama. So that's some of the good news for those who are looking for the holiday and especially for the celebrations in the South. Let's get into our weather headlines for Monday. We don't have to worry about much of anything else outside of enjoying the weather, low humidity, sun and on top of it, it will be pleasant. Now the pleasantries continue for Tuesday and Wednesday as we still do have pretty low humidity for us. But once we get to our fourth of July, we are looking for things to warm back up and it's also gonna be a bit on the monkey side so be prepared for temperatures to start to warm into those middle eighties. But again, overnight skies will clear and there's gonna be drying out for us across the lower Hudson Valley. We're talking about temperatures into the upper fifties and even the low 60 degree mark overnight into our Monday morning and we're just gonna warm to around 79 degrees eighties for a couple of spots. But overall, it's gonna feel pretty fantastic from West Point to Yorktown Heights and even for White Plains and for Yonkers, Monday again, around 80 degrees for Yonkers, but many of us are gonna hold into the seventies. So definitely take full advantage of it for a very beautiful day. It's gonna be on tap for us across white plains and for the lower Hudson Valley in itself. But walking through the rest of our future cast again, gonna stay very clear and dry, might see some passing clouds for parts of orange and uh parts of Putnam counties, but it's mainly going to be very clear for us and that leads into our Tuesday as well. So not a whole lot is going on for us until we get to the end of the week. So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, very comfortable and refreshing. But then you can see these due points which would be the humidity spiking back up for a Thursday, Friday and yes, even Saturday. So we're looking for another active weather pattern late into next week. But as of right now, we're monitoring some potential of seeing some shower activity just around the fourth of July. But for Friday and Saturday, we're really gonna keep our eye on some wet weather back in its way, temperatures are gonna stay near seasonal to start. But when we end, we are looking to heat back up, especially for Thursday and heading into our Saturday. But until then, let's enjoy the start.

3 Hudson Valley bridges get facelifts in $17.4 million project

Lots of repairs are happening right now on highway bridges within the Hudson Valley. First in Newburgh, traffic is reduced to just one lane at the bridge on route 52. So a heads up if you're driving in that area. And then in Yorktown, the bridge on Illington road that is closed while work is being done. Construction on route 304 in Clarkstown will also begin very soon, which is part of a $17 million project shoulders along I 84. The taconic and I 287 will also be closed that is expected to be finished by the summer of 2026.
